At Robert Half, we are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to work within a shared service centre based in Liverpool.
This is a hands on leadership role, requiring strong management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
3-6 months interim assignment.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the Shared Service Centre team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
2. Oversee delivery of all transactional finance processes (AP, AR, etc) ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
3. Act as primary escalation point for service delivery issues, driving resolution and process improvement.
4. Review of monthly reconciliations.
5. Review of payment runs, and processing.
6. Develop and monitor KPIs/SLAs to ensure the SSC operates effectively and meets business needs.
7. Partner with the wider finance function and senior stakeholders to align SSC priorities with business objectives.
8. Prepare and present management reports, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
Key Requirements:
9. Proven track record in managing finance teams within a Shared Service Centre or large transactional environment.
10. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast paced setting.
11. Experience of driving process improvements, system enhancements, and change management.
