This is the perfect role if you are looking for an opportunity to start or rekindle your journey into management within the Ambulance Service . Many of our previous Operational Team Leaders have successfully moved on into higher level management posts within the various sections of Ambulance Care and across the wider organisation, so if you are ambitious to progress and looking for that opportunity to take the first step on the WAST career development path, this is the role for you.
The posts are available as a permanent post. You must be qualified as an ACA, ACA2, EMT or Paramedic to apply and although C1 licencing is desirable, it is not essential and support and funding will be provided for you to obtain your C1 licence whilst employed in this role.
In additional to the duties specific to the role, you will be required to work operationally as either an ACA or ACA2 (based on your skill/qualification level). If trained as an ACA only you will be provided with ACA2 awareness.
