Overview
The community of St George’s empowers everyone to feel safe, valued and welcome. We work towards our aspirations and celebrate our personal achievements. We learn to make choices that shape our future; enabling us to have our voices heard, be respected, develop resilience and independence to take our place in society.
St George’s School is expanding. St George’s is a secondary special school on the Isle of Wight providing education for students with severe and complex needs. In September 2024 we opened a satellite provision in East Cowes for young people with SEMH needs, where we have embedded trauma informed practice and a therapeutic classrooms approach to support them on their academic journey. The provision has been incredibly successful, and we have welcomed a new, additional cohort of young people in September 2025.
