Working Pattern: Hybrid working, 2 days from home
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site organisation based in Anglesey. This role offers a blend of remote and office-based work, and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.
About the Role As a Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts down to division and branch level within tight deadlines
* Allocate costs across multiple divisions and branches to ensure accurate cost centre reporting
* Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations
* Process monthly journals including prepayments, accruals, stock and margin
* Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
* Maintain accurate accounts records and spreadsheets
* Respond to financial queries from across the business
* Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior year performance, providing regular updates to management
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
* Take ownership of overhead costs, including monthly reviews with budget holders
* Support other finance-related duties as required

* Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
* Experience in a large, multi-site organisation
* Part-qualified or QBE

* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
