Job Description
My Client is recruiting for an Installation Supervisor in the Water Sector. It's an exciting time to join our Installations Team based out of our Bracknell branch. The role will predominantly be based on customer sites, with occasional visits to the branch and other locations across the UK.
As an Installation Supervisor, you will lead by example and oversee all direct and indirect workers on site, including third-party contractors. A positive attitude, flexibility, and integrity are essential. You will ensure RAMS are briefed and followed, and that equipment quality is verified before installation. Health & Safety is our top priority and must be adhered to at all times.
You will work on construction sites with potential risks. You need to manage your safety and be aware of others around you. Confidence to stop unsafe acts is required. Flexibility is essential as you will participate in a call-out rota and support your team with overtime outside of standard hours, offering increased overtime rates. This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Promote and exercise the company's mission statement and core values across the UK network.
2. Supervise all aspects of solution/sales projects from conception to completion in collaboration with the solutions/sales team.
3. Communicate with the Installation Manager regarding progress and potential issues.
4. Conduct on-site RAMS processes, identifying risks and implementing control measures, and communicate installation methodology to staff and customers.
5. Install pipework and supervise daily activities of operatives and subcontractors.
6. Assist drivers with vehicle loading/unloading.
7. Maintain physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and ensure safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Ability to work on construction sites with a good understanding of safety, adaptable, positive attitude, flexible working hours, and a full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
Preferred: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Site Supervision, SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safety, forklift license, CSCS gold card, Water Hygiene Card, and experience in hire or water industry are advantageous but not essential.
