We are recruiting an Associate Director for our Project & Programme Management Team in Edinburgh, working with a successful team across Scotland. The role involves leading project delivery, client relationships, and business development, with a focus on high-quality project management services.
Key Attributes
* Motivated, collaborative project management practitioner experienced in large, complex projects.
* Client-facing consultancy experience in development, commercial property, or public sectors is desirable.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience as NEC Project Manager is essential.
* Ability to communicate construction industry knowledge effectively.
* Proactive in developing client relationships and accounts.
Responsibilities
* Manage construction projects throughout their lifecycle using best practices.
* Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
* Act as the primary client interface and lead project delivery.
* Ensure commercial success, including managing budgets and resources.
* Maintain compliance with company policies and standards.
* Manage and mentor team members.
* Drive business development and prepare proposals.
* Lead complex projects from inception to completion.
* Stay updated on legal and technical matters relevant to the work.
Requirements
* Degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent.
* Member of a recognized professional institution (MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent).
* Proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach.
* Leadership experience in project management services.
* Experience with UK building contracts (NEC, JCT).
* Understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Commitment to personal development.
* Valid UK driving license.
