Overview of what you will be doing
We are seeking a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to support ongoing and forthcoming projects in Falkirk. You will take a lead role in the design, assessment, and delivery of civil and structural engineering solutions across industrial sites, ensuring designs are safe, compliant, and buildable.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and engineering of civil and structural works, including foundations, steelwork, concrete structures, and drainage.
* Perform calculations, assessments, and checks in line with relevant codes and standards.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
* Work closely with multi-discipline teams to ensure coordinated and buildable designs.
* Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site interface discussions.
What you will bring to Engenda
* HNC/HND or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Extensive experience in civil and structural design within industrial environments.
* Strong understanding of UK standards and design codes.
* Ability to manage workload and deliver to project schedules.
* Clear, effective communication skills.
