We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to join the successful Design & Technology department.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
* Promote high standards of achievement, behaviour, and safety in food rooms
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
* Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology
* Is committed to inclusive teaching and high expectations for all learners
* Works well as part of a collaborative team
* Is keen to develop professionally within a supportive environment

Successful candidates should hold QTS, PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's Degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
As members of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and Umbrella body to the DBS, (Disclosure & Barring Service) Excell Supply is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
