3 Month Contract With A local Authority Job Purpose To support the recruitment and onboarding of Passenger Assistants within the School Transport Team, ensuring students in Plymouth have access to safe and reliable transport. The role involves organising recruitment processes, liaising with candidates, providing administrative support, and helping deliver an efficient, friendly, and varied service across the city. Key Responsibilities Organise recruitment for Agency and PCC Passenger Assistants, including: Scheduling interviews and managing paperwork Uploading and monitoring application documents Tracking progress from application to placement Liaise with prospective candidates, answering enquiries and providing guidance Support successful candidates in completing required documentation Travel within Plymouth to distribute recruitment information and resources Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade as directed by the School Transport Team Contribute to a positive team environment, bringing a sense of humour and flexibility Requirements Full clean driving licence Access to a vehicle for travel across Plymouth Can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office packages Ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and efficiently Basic DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) Enthusiasm for recruitment and supporting local students Additional Information Bi-Weekly Payments 37 Working Hours Per Week
