About the Role

As an Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) at East Kent Colleges Group (EKC Group), you will be responsible for securing and monitoring work placements for students across vocational areas, acting as the main point of contact for employer relations, supporting planning and implementation of employer events, and ensuring employers provide required documentation in a timely manner.

Your role also involves working one-to-one with students to identify employability skill gaps and support them to develop these skills for successful industry placements.

About You

We are seeking an Industry Liaison Officer with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. You must be highly organised, able to prioritise work, flexible and responsive to demands. An inquisitive and analytical approach, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable; otherwise experience in a relevant sector and willingness to obtain a relevant level 3 qualification will be considered.
