A large, high-performing secondary school in Oxford is seeking to appoint a School Business Manager from January 2026. The school is looking for a strategic, motivated professional to oversee finance, HR, compliance, and site operations in an established support team. Experience and Qualifications
* Prior experience as a School Business Manager, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role within education
* Professional qualification desirable (CIPFA, AAT, ACCA, School Business Management qualification, or equivalent)
* Strong financial management and budgeting experience
* Ability to lead HR, operations, compliance, procurement, and estates functions
* Excellent communication, organisational, and people-management skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of compliance
Salary
Salary for this School Business Manager role will be paid to scale on a direct permanent contract, dependent on experience and qualifications.
