To apply for the position of Restaurant Manager you will be a great leader and positive team player, who has previous experience in the Restaurant & Customer Service sector within a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will possess excellent communication skills with a strong focus on the customer and flexibility to work a range of hours (including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends).

Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Lead by example, treat customers as top priority; be customer focused in all areas of restaurant operations; accurate staff scheduling that meets customer demand; support the team to maintain operational efficiency; conduct regular store walks in the eyes of the customer.
* People: Encourage staff to share suggestions, recruit and train the team, provide performance feedback and support; manage absence; submit payroll information; work with Shift Managers to identify high performers; foster a positive, non-discriminatory teamwork culture; performance management with HR when necessary.
* Driving Sales: Understand sales patterns, products, peak trade times; ensure products are merchandised and aligned with marketing campaigns; coach up-selling and suggestive selling; complete weekly cost control reports (P&L); drive continuous improvement through incentives.
* Operations: Analyse store KPIs (sales, turnover, food safety, Health & Safety); lead by example under pressure; manage weekly stock orders and quality checks; maintain equipment maintenance schedules; ensure opening/closing procedures and overall standards/ cleanliness; uphold Health and Safety procedures and prompt reporting of incidents; be available for varied shifts as part of the management team.
Key Requisites
* Previous experience of running restaurants
* Flexibility and disciplined approach to work
* Experience in a food environment is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work as part of a team and on their own
* Reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy
* Maintain a high level of food hygiene and food safety
* Experience handling customer complaints
* Maintain Positive Health and Safety procedures and ensure instructions are followed
