Head Chef - Banqueting and In-Room Dining To lead the Banqueting and In-Room Dining department. To ensure the highest quality and consistency of food in outlets and banquets. To support the Executive Chef in operational aspects of the culinary operation. Manage controls and supervise all food preparation in Banqueting and In-Room Dining, ensuring cost effective methods.
To ensure and maintain the highest standard of all food preparation and service in their respective kitchens. You will adopt and maintain a sound professional knowledge on all aspects related to the operation and position. Ensure Banqueting and In-Room Dining kitchen areas are maintained to Shangri-La standard, food safety, HACCAP responsibility. You will be aware of our current IMS policies & procedures and will ensure these are followed throughout the hotel.

What we are looking for?

Basic computer skills.
Have an ability to stand for long periods of time.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in kitchen management .
HACCAP & Health & Safety implementation.
Knowledge of food cost & labour cost.
Oral & written fluency in English.
Currently be working in a 5* hotel or similar environment.
Be motivated & a self-starter.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
