Senior Delivery Leadership Role – Test Services (Application Test Services / SV&T Ecosystem)
Role Purpose -The senior-most position to lead a 200-member quality engineering team.
The QAT Delivery Manager is the senior-most delivery leader responsible for the end‑to‑end provision, governance, and quality outcomes of all testing services delivered for the client. This role ensures full compliance with client policies, organisational testing standards, and multi‑supplier governance frameworks.
The role provides authoritative oversight, drives a risk‑based Quality Engineering (QE) approach, and ensures consistent, compliant, and value‑driven testing outcomes across the client environment.

Deep expertise across all test levels (Unit → OAT) and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Quality Engineering mindset promoting shift‑left, CI/CD integration, and automation by default
Ability to manage multi‑party coordination across internal teams, vendors, and partners
Authority in defect, environment, and test data management
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, SCR handling, security, accessibility)
Exceptional communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement
Ability to deliver transparent reporting, including risks, metrics, readiness, and coverage
Continuous improvement orientation focusing on efficiency and innovation
Strong commercial acumen ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments
Leadership and people development skills to build a high‑performing test organisation
Calm and authoritative presence during escalations, governance boards, and readiness checkpoints

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Test Leadership & Governance
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of all Lot‑based testing services
Ensure alignment with client testing policies, governance standards, and quality frameworks
Provide independent assurance on readiness, risks, and mitigation controls
2. Delivery Ownership & Quality Assurance
Oversee planning and execution across all test phases (Unit → OAT)
Ensure strict enforcement of acceptance criteria, entry/exit criteria, and quality gates
Drive defect, environment, and data issue resolution across teams and suppliers
3. Multi‑Party Coordination
Manage cross‑functional delivery across internal teams, vendors, and external suppliers
Lead defect triage meetings, governance forums, and release readiness checkpoints
4. Quality Engineering & Automation
Implement QE practices including CI/CD enablement, static code analysis, and shift‑left testing
Expand automation across functional, non‑functional, and regression coverage
5. Compliance & Security
Ensure compliance with GDPR, SCR protocols, security standards, and accessibility (e.g., WCAG 2.2 AA)
Maintain robust risk‑based testing and quality assurance controls
6. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
Act as the senior interface for client leadership, architecture, security, delivery, and change teams
Provide clear dashboards, metrics, status reports, risk summaries, and readiness assessments
7. People Leadership
Lead test managers, leads, analysts, and automation engineers
Drive capability development and foster a high‑performance culture
Support resource planning, performance management, and competency building
8. Commercial & Contractual Management
Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and service deliverables
Identify cost optimisation opportunities and deliver measurable value
Skills & Experience
25+ years of enterprise‑scale test delivery experience
Strong background in multi‑vendor, complex programme environments
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, ITIL4, and ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 testing standards
Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Experience in automation, Quality Engineering, and CI/CD‑driven testing
Strong analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills
Demonstrated ability to manage delivery in high‑pressure, regulated environments
