Wedding & Events Coordinator – Longridge House Full-time 40 hours per week About Us Tucked away in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, Longridge House is a 23-bedroom boutique hotel, restaurant, and wedding venue where warmth, style, and personal touches come together. We’re part of the Elle R Leisure family, the team behind Dukes 92 and Albert’s Restaurants and we’re building something special here: a place where every guest feels at home, every event feels unique, and every detail matters. The Role We’re looking for someone with a big personality and an even bigger passion for hospitality to join our team as Wedding & Events Coordinator. If you love people, enjoy creating memorable moments, and find joy in bringing weddings and events to life, we’d love to meet you. You’ll be the friendly face that guides our couples and clients from their first enquiry to their big day, making sure every experience at Longridge House feels seamless, personal, and unforgettable. What You’ll Be Doing Chatting with couples, families, and clients. Responding to all enquiries with warmth, confidence, and care. Turning those enquiries into confirmed bookings by showing just how special our venue is (and spotting opportunities to upsell when the moment’s right). Hosting show rounds and appointments, sharing your knowledge of our rooms, menus, and packages. Working closely with our operations, kitchen, and front-of-house teams to make sure every event runs beautifully. Helping to organise and take part in our Wedding Open Days and Wedding Fairs. Keeping everything organised behind the scenes, from paperwork to planning details. Playing your part in achieving our sales goals while delivering the kind of service that keeps guests smiling long after they’ve gone home. About You You’re the kind of person who: Is enthusiastic, organised, and reliable. Has a genuine passion for hospitality and people. Enjoys being part of a close, supportive team. Communicates clearly and confidently - especially over the phone. Has a great eye for detail and a proactive approach. Ideally has experience in weddings or events, and loves making things run smoothly. Doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves for the occasional evening or weekend when the celebrations call for it!
