We're looking for a proactive and organised Stores Person to join our SES Water team based at our central stores hub in Redhill. You'll play a key role in ensuring our operational teams have the materials they need to maintain and repair critical assets across our network. In this busy, varied role, you'll work closely with colleagues, contractors and suppliers-managing stock, processing orders, receiving deliveries and ensuring our stores operate efficiently and safely. No two days are the same, and your work will directly support essential services relied on 24/7. As part of our commitment to maintaining round-the-clock service, you'll also join our standby rota to support emergency out-of-hours requirements. What You'll Be Doing Managing stock across all store locations, ensuring accuracy and good housekeeping. Safely loading and unloading deliveries. Carrying out regular stock checks and investigations into discrepancies. Processing goods received and issuing stock via our ERP system. Handling returned materials and organising restocking or supplier returns. Picking, packing and preparing stock for collection. Supporting catalogue updates and recommending stock level adjustments. Ensuring all stores areas meet Health & Safety and COSHH standards. Managing supplier and internal customer queries via phone, email and shared mailbox. Chasing overdue orders and resolving delivery issues. Participating in emergency call-out rota. Supporting ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: Full clean UK driving licence (Essential) Forklift truck operator certificate (Essential) Experience working with ERP or stock management systems (Desirable) Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines (Essential) Experience in a similar stores or warehouse role (Desirable) Residing locally to Redhill for emergency cover (Essential) Closing Date: 12th February 2026 Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to a mandatory DBS check as part of the onboarding process.
