Take responsibility for leading the UK & Ireland Business of an international company specialised in developing advanced components and systems for applications such as automation, optics, semiconductor manufacturing, and life sciences.
The tasks
The UK MD / Head of Country Sales will ultimately be responsible for leading the 10-15 person sales-focused organisation in the UK to achieve ambitious growth targets.
1. Drive the execution of the sales and growth strategy within the UK market, enhancing market penetration and increasing sales intensity.
2. Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, showcasing technical offerings and high-quality solutions that meet market demands.
3. Lead and develop the team focused on achieving consistent organic growth to increase market share and revenues.
4. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with broader group expectations, ensuring a continuous focus on innovation and effective sales management.
5. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture, encouraging accountability and personal development among team members.
Your profil
You should have a proven track record in a senior leadership role within technical manufacturing, deep-tech or precision engineering.
6. Strong background in business development, sales strategy execution, and team leadership, with experience managing a subsidiary of an international organization.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
8. Mastery of complex sales processes with an adaptable approach to evolving market needs, especially in emerging segments.
9. A higher degree from a Technical, Scientific or Business school, alongside fluent business English language skills.
