Duties
* To assist the Estates and H&S manager on relevant Health and Safety legislation and its effects upon the College, and assist the Estates & H&S managers in their administration duties and tasks within the estates and the H&S department.
* To assist the Estates and H&S Manager in the preparation of and keep under review the College's Health and Safety Policy, Procedures & Codes of Practice.
* To promote through support and guidance safe working practices throughout the College.
* To monitor compliance with legal requirements and College policy in respect of Health and Safety.
* Administrate and support with Purchase orders and associated financial procurement within the Estates and H&S departments.
Skills/Experience
* Highly organised and motivated individual
* Excellent IT skills with competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Good time management and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work individually and effectively as part of a wider College team
* Self-motivated and ability to manage own time effectively to complete designated tasks
Qualifications
* 4 x Level C or equivalent GCSEs, Including Maths and English
* IOSH Managing safely
