Key Responsibilities Produce and translate detailed 2D and 3D fabrication, layout, and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Understanding engineering principles, collaborating with other professionals, and ensuring designs meet specific project goals and industry standards. Produce detailed technical drawings, also known as blueprints, from these models for various stages of a project. Work with other specialists to understand design requirements and turn them into accurate technical plans. Verify designs meet project specifications, quality standards, and relevant industry regulations. What We’re Looking For Experience in CAD Design roles or Mechanical Design – ideally in lifting systems, steelwork, or live events Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (2D and 3D) Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, and modular assembly Excellent communicator – able to engage both technical and creative stakeholders Full UK driving licence due to location of the role Desirable Skills Knowledge of stage machinery, hoists, motors, and load-bearing systems What’s in it for You?
