Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)

Pay Rate: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a Cover Supervisor (Day-to-Day) to join a school in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a school setting, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher while supporting pupil engagement and behaviour.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following lesson plans and school procedures.
* Maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
* Support pupils in completing tasks and encourage engagement with lesson content.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively using school policies and techniques.
* Report on pupil progress, behaviour, and any issues to the class teacher or senior staff.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure smooth school operations.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and organised in all classroom situations.
* Flexibility to supervise various age groups and subjects.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
