Shifts: Rotating shifts: 6:00am 2:00pm and 2:00pm 10:00pm
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Flexographic Printer to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled printer looking to work with modern equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses.
* Prepare inks, plates, and materials in line with job specifications.
* Ensure consistent print quality and colour accuracy throughout production runs.
* Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
* Complete production paperwork and quality control documentation.
* Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency.
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements
* Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses.
* Strong understanding of print processes, colour matching, and quality standards.
* Ability to work from job specifications and production schedules.
* Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
* Printing-related qualifications.
* Experience with narrow web or wide web flexographic presses.
* Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
