The Role
As a Lead Generator, you will play a key role in identifying and creating new business opportunities for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a successful career in sales and business development. Working within our Business Development team, you will engage with senior decision-makers across a wide range of organisations, qualifying opportunities and generating high-quality leads for our sales team. This is a fast‑paced, target‑driven role where resilience, determination and a positive attitude are essential. What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct outbound telephone calls to prospective clients
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team
- Profile and research over 3,000 businesses per year
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across a variety of sectors
- Generate a minimum of 15 qualified leads per week
- Maintain accurate records of all activity within company systems
- Achieve daily activity targets, including calls, conversations and talk time
- Work closely with Business Development and Sales teams to support growth
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2:1 degree or above in any business‑related discipline
- Up to 12 months' commercial work experience, sales experience advantageous but not essential
- Articulate, confident and professional telephone manner
- Resilient, tenacious and comfortable speaking with new people every day
- Highly ambitious with a strong desire to build a successful sales career
- Quick learner with strong commercial awareness
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Results‑driven with a strong work ethic and determination to succeed
- Positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Previous telesales, customer service, recruitment or business development experience desirable
