Patient Sales Coordinator (Maternity Cover – Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £25,500 – £26,000 + commission (OTE up to £37,000)

I'm looking for a Patient Sales Coordinator to join us on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This isn't just a "sales" job – it's about being the first reassuring voice our patients hear, guiding them through one of the most important decisions of their lives. Compassion, warmth, and genuine care are just as important as the ability to explain our services clearly and confidently.

The Role

* Talking to patients who have enquired about weight loss surgery and making them feel at ease
* Building trust (no hard selling – it's about listening and guiding)
* Organising consultations, booking operations, and keeping the patient journey smooth
* Working closely with myself and the rest of the Tonic team

Responsibilities

* Be the first friendly voice patients hear, building trust and excitement about their journey with Tonic.
* Sell the benefits of Tonic's services and aftercare, guiding patients from initial enquiry through to consultation booking and operation booking.
* Confidently explain procedures, finance options, and the Tonic aftercare package, positioning us as the premium choice.
* Use sales techniques to overcome objections/
* Keep accurate notes and records so every patient feels personally looked after.
* Work closely with the team to hit monthly conversion targets.
* Contribute to patient feedback reviews, helping us continuously improve how we sell and support.
* Stay organised and proactive in handling multiple patient enquiries at once, without letting any opportunity slip.

Experience

* Proven experience in a customer service, sales, ideally within a healthcare or medical sales environment.
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with patients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) is essential; familiarity with other software tools is advantageous.
