We are a leading kitchen provider with a modern showroom in Launceston, dedicated to creating beautiful and functional spaces for our clients. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, supported by a full in-house installation team that brings our designs to life. We are now looking for a creative and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join our growing team.
The Role:
As a Kitchen Designer, you will be the creative force behind our clients' dream kitchens. Working from our Launceston showroom, you will guide customers through the entire design process, from initial concept to final sign-off. This role requires a blend of design flair, technical skill, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with clients in our showroom and in their own homes to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
* Create inspiring and practical kitchen designs using ArtiCAD software, producing detailed plans and stunning 3D visuals.
* Present designs to clients, explaining features and benefits to help them visualise their new space.
* Provide accurate quotations and process orders efficiently.
* Collaborate closely with our in-house installation team to ensure a seamless transition from design to reality, providing them with all necessary technical information for a successful fit.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product range, industry trends, and new technologies.
* Ensure the showroom is kept to a high standard, providing an exceptional customer experience.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer is essential.
* Proficient in using ArtiCAD design software.
* A strong portfolio showcasing previous kitchen design projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and spatial awareness.
* Confident in conducting home visits and on-site measurements.
* A valid UK driving licence is required.
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
