Salary: Scale H - Starts at £41,928 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £46,674 per annum

We recognise that to best serve the public our officers and staff need to be as well as they can be that is why the Health, Welfare and Wellbeing of our workforce is at the heart of our People Strategy and a cornerstone of how we deliver policing in both Dorset and Devon & Cornwall. Our Occupational Health, Welfare and Wellbeing Service is delivered as part of the Strategic Alliance between Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police; this newly integrated service is now seeking a dynamic and innovative manager to support the Chief Medical Officer in driving performance, seeking improvement, and collaborating for success.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer you will support, nurture, and develop our current service offering and be instrumental in seeking new opportunities to add value and enhance the operational capability of both forces. A non-clinical post, this role will take the lead in managing vital enabling functions that best support our clinical team and will be a key member of the Occupational Health, Welfare and Wellbeing Senior Leadership Team.
This role will be based primarily at our Occupational Health Hub at Middlemoor Headquarters in Exeter; as a role delivering across the Strategic Alliance, travel across the geography will be required. The team fully embraces flexible and hybrid working with opportunities to work from home.
Additional Information
The selection day will involve candidates doing a powerpoint presentation consisting of 6 slides (excluding introduction & 'question' slide) as well as the formal interview. More information regarding the subject of the presentation will be sent to candidates that pass the shortlisting stage.
