The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead financial planning specially covering short and long term cashflow forecast and inventory forecasting. You’ll work across engineering, supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to understand cost drivers, production dynamics, and revenue trajectories. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain short and long term cashflow forecasting models. Working closely with division department heads ensuring accuracy of forecasts. Develop and maintain inventory financial models that reflect hardware production cycles, COGS structure, and capital requirements. Partner with operations to forecast and track inventory, logistics, and manufacturing partner costs Build long-term planning scenarios that incorporate supply chain risks, inventory cycles, and gross margin improvement opportunities Lead the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts, with a focus on variable production costs, unit economics, and scaling assumptions Collaborate with product and engineering teams to quantify R&D investments and ROI Deliver insightful financial and operational dashboards, KPIs, and board materials Analyse actuals vs. forecast; provide variance commentary and insights to leadership Monitor key deep tech/hardware metrics like gross margin, BOM cost trends, cash burn, and capital efficiency Help implement scalable systems and processes across finance, ops, and supply chain Ensure financial processes are audit-ready and aligned with investor expectations What You Bring Chartered accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) 3 years relevant experience working in a FP&A environment Extensive experience creating, maintaining and developing fully integrated financial models Demonstratable business partnering experience across a variety of business functions Comfortable in a scale up environment and able to adapt to the needs of the business i.e. working on strategic long-term forecasts to balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Good to have Experience with BOM cost modeling, inventory forecasting, or NPI (new product introduction) financial support Background in deep tech, robotics, semiconductors, IoT, or climate hardware Why Join Us?
