Oundle School is seeking an Apprentice IT Helpdesk Analyst to support the School and the IT Services team in delivering IT applications and infrastructure across different functional and technical areas.
The Role
The Apprentice IT Helpdesk Analyst acts as the routine contact point for the IT Service, receiving and handling initial requests for support. The role responds to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolution, it provides first-line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocates unresolved issues as appropriate. The role contributes to the creation of support documentation, provides first-line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
The role also acts as the routine contact point between the organisation and suppliers, supporting the resolution of supplier-related incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance. As well as collecting and reporting on supplier performance data.
Due to the operational demands of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be located on site to ensure timely support and efficient IT service delivery across the School.
Hours: Working Monday to Friday 8am – 17:00pm (with a one-hour lunch), you will be required to work one Saturday morning every four weeks in term-time.
Salary: As this role is an entry-level apprenticeship, the salary will be determined according to the relevant National Minimum Wage or and National Living Wage rates.
