Job Advert: School Data Manager
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
Complete classroom services are seeking a highly committed and detail-driven Data Manager to lead and maintain the school's Management Information System (MIS) and associated data solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security of academic data.
This is a key role in supporting the school's ongoing improvement journey, ensuring that high-quality data informs decision-making, enables staff to monitor progress, and strengthens communication with parents.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the accuracy and integrity of data within Bromcom and manage system permissions.
* Monitor academic performance using national accountability documentation and external data sources.
* Work with senior leaders to create and manage challenging yet achievable target grades.
* Prepare detailed analysis of results for the Headteacher, Leadership Team, Subject Leaders and Achievement Leaders.
* Produce clear, concise and accurate data reports to support school improvement and identify patterns and trends.
* Ensure assessment data and reports are delivered to parents in line with school policy.
* Lead on the management and development of school data systems such as SISRA, ALPS and others.
* Provide staff training on MIS usage and updates.
* Oversee the curriculum and timetable process, including course management, class allocations, registration groups, and student memberships.
* Ensure accurate sixth form study programme data to meet funding requirements.
* Support the smooth transfer of data between schools and across academic years.
* Stay up to date with data-related developments and lead continuous improvements in systems and processes.
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Have proven experience using Bromcom, SISRA, ALPS or similar systems.
* Demonstrate strong, up-to-date knowledge of school performance data.
* Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills.
* Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to present information in a clear and accessible format.
* Be an excellent communicator, confident in working with colleagues at all levels.
* Be proactive, detail-focused, and able to work to strict deadlines.
Experience, Qualifications and Training Essential
· GCSE Maths and English and at Grades C/4 or above (or equivalent)
· Experience of working within Administration
· Experience of working within a team
· A commitment to appropriate professional development
Desirable
Experience of working within a school environment Ability, Skills and Knowledge Essential.
