You will join a fast-growing, innovative, and collaborative team, supporting some of the most renowned live events while helping to challenge and transform the ticketing industry. The Role As a PHP Developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of a robust, scalable ticketing platform used by thousands of event organisers. Working closely with talented developers, UX designers, and QA engineers, you will: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented PHP code Design and optimise database schemas for large-scale MySQL environments Develop and maintain unit and behavioural tests (Cypress) Participate in sprint planning and collaborative problem-solving sessions Take part in Level 2 support rotation to understand user behaviour and real-world issues Contribute to the engineering culture through knowledge sharing, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives About You Minimum 3 years’ PHP development experience Proven experience with PHP frameworks (bespoke or standard) Strong understanding of MySQL and database design Skilled in Git (GitLab experience advantageous) Proactive self-starter with excellent organisational skills Collaborative team player with strong communication and problem-solving abilities Passionate about building innovative technology in a fast-paced environment The Offer Salary: £48,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) Bonus: Discretionary annual performance-based bonus Equity: Eligibility for employee stock options scheme (after 12 months’ service) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Location: Edinburgh HQ (hybrid working - minimum 2 days per week in office) This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, purpose-driven business that is shaping the future of live events technology in the UK and beyond.
