We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
