Property Services are recruiting for a Hard FM Monitoring Officer. The role involves monitoring, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and providing professional support to the Property Maintenance and Planned Improvement (PMPI) Manager. The post holder will also liaise with Education Head Teachers and Business Managers.

Requirements
If you possess the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:
* Professional qualification at degree level within a building-related discipline or equivalent education and working towards a professional qualification.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience in managing and controlling budgets.
* Contract administration experience.
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and work ordering systems.
* Knowledge of current legislation such as:
* Health & Safety at Work Act
* Health & Hygiene (Scotland) Act
* COSHH
* Asbestos regulations
* CDM Regulations
* Building Regulations
* Water Bylaws
This position is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
