Kenton Black Finance has partnered with an accountancy firm based in Chester, operating for over 20 years. Due to recent retirement, an opportunity has arisen for someone with payroll and practice experience to join the team. This is a permanent position with flexible working options of 2, 3, or 4 days per week, including the possibility of hybrid working.
Your Role as a Part-time Payroll Assistant:
You will collaborate with a full-time payroll assistant to process payrolls for approximately 300 clients, on weekly and monthly schedules. Payroll sizes will range from a few staff to about 50 employees. Additionally, you will handle auto-enrollment matters.
Requirements:
* Payroll experience in an accountancy practice or bureau
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data processing
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
