About The Role
This role sits within the newly formed Retail Innovation and Change team. You will work closely with a Product Manager to bring exciting new ideas and innovation to life, while also enhancing the performance of existing in-store offerings. You will leverage your exceptional communication skills and strategic stakeholder management to collaborate seamlessly with internal partners, addressing critical business challenges and capitalising on emerging opportunities. The role involves working with internal teams and third-party suppliers to develop insights into a dynamic Product Roadmap that will redefine and enrich the customer and Partner experiences throughout Waitrose locations.
* Salary - £44,100 - £66,100
* Contract type - Permanent
* Working pattern/flexible working - Hybrid approach, with a mix of office and home working based on personal needs and business requirements. The team aims for 1 day per week in the office, with visits to branches as needed.
* Location - Bracknell (home-based with hybrid working)
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the team and Product Manager to build, own, and manage a visible, transparent Product Backlog aligned with overall objectives and OKRs.
2. Utilize insight, data, and analytics to identify opportunities for continuous product improvement and iteration.
3. Assist in creating functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and Development teams.

* Ability to solve complex problems and approach existing solutions from new perspectives.
* Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively.
* Capability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and timelines.
* Experience leading cross-functional work.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
Desirable Skills/Experience
* Some experience with Agile methodologies (such as SCRUM or Kanban) (2+ years).
* Experience in defining and delivering Minimum Viable Products, running A/B tests, and making data-driven decisions.
