What will I be doing?
You’ll work directly with critical EfW plant systems, helping to convert waste into energy safely, efficiently and in line with environmental legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring, controlling and adjusting plant processes to keep operations safe and efficient
* Managing and sampling water tube boilers, analysing results and responding to issues
* Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving process or equipment problems
* Isolating plant systems when required to maintain safe operations
* Playing an active role in safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement
What are the requirements?
* A background in mechanical, electrical or process engineering within an EfW site or similar process plant
* Knowledge of boilers, process control, instrumentation and environmental legislation
* A Process Plant Operations Qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3) or equivalent experience in a chemical or energy facility
* Holding or willingness to work towards certifications such as BOAS Cert IBO and IOSH Working Safely, with good IT skills
* A collaborative mindset and motivated tocontinuously improve
