Gynaecology and Fertility Private Outpatients Sister (Fixed term)
Band 6 Full Time – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.
Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to support our private services and join our large successful Centre of Reproductive Medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City of London.
Responsibilities
* Support patients throughout investigations, treatment and follow‑up in fertility nursing.
* Manage specialist gynaecological procedures such as outpatient hysteroscopy, HyCosy and colposcopy.
* Work closely with private consultants to provide highest quality care to private patients.
* Ensure service cover, with occasional weekend clinic cover when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of two years post‑registration experience.
* Strong gynaecology experience and knowledge of fertility nursing aspects.
* Confidence to take on responsibilities of a specialist role.
* Excellent communication skills and motivation to provide high standards of nursing care.
* Genuine interest in this area.
Work Hours & Conditions
Unit open Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm; some clinics run until 8pm; potential weekend clinic cover in future.
Flexible working hours required to ensure service cover.
Full on‑the‑job training, formal study access and support for conferences and study days provided.
Contract
12‑month fixed‑term contract (duration may be slightly shorter due to advertising and hiring processes).
