Responsibilities
The Governing Board of St Brendan’s RC Primary School wish to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to plan and teach in year groups across the school, providing PPA and/or Management cover as well as cover for staff absence.
Requirements
* have experience of being a Teaching Assistant Level 4 in a primary school
* have experience of planning and delivering whole class lessons
* have an excellent subject knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and/or 2 curriculum
* have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
* be a team player who develops good working relationships with colleagues
* be committed to working in close partnership with parents, Governors and the wider community
