We're looking for several ambitious, transformational senior leaders for exciting roles across our organisation and this is where you come in as our Director of Finance (Section 151 Officer).
As Director of Finance and a key member of the senior leadership team, you will shape the corporate strategy, lead change, and ensure effective use of financial and people resources. The role safeguards the council’s financial integrity through strong oversight of accounts, debt, investments, and related systems.
As the Section 151 Officer, you will ensure proper financial administration and report directly to the Chief Executive on statutory matters. You will lead and monitor financial strategies to ensure the Council has the resources to meet its priorities, maintaining high standards of governance and innovative financial management.
