✅ Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Act as a customer-facing architect, engaging business and technical stakeholders
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Run workshops and capture requirements across global teams and partners
2. Solution Design (High-Level Focus)
Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) aligned to the clients infrastructure standards
Adapt and apply off-the-shelf architectural standards to new use cases
Provide solution options, trade-offs, and recommendations
👉 This aligns with existing the clients architecture practice where architects:
“take requirements and translate into solution options and high-level designs”
3. Infrastructure Architecture Coverage
Design solutions across core infrastructure domains:
LAN / WAN networking
Server hosting environments (on-prem / hybrid)
Storage platforms
Wi-Fi / connectivity solutions
Edge infrastructure ( CCTV, IoT, access control)
👉 The environment includes large-scale Cisco-based infrastructure across 100+ sites, requiring standardised design at scale
4. Programme Delivery Support
Support delivery of key programmes including:
Sentinel programme (CCTV / door entry rollout)
New campus builds
Work across multiple projects concurrently, adapting designs per site/use case
5. Governance & Assurance
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security policies
Review designs from delivery partners / MSPs
Support risk identification and mitigation
6. Stakeholder Coordination
Interface with:
Infrastructure engineering teams
Security teams
Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Programme and project managers
✅ Key Skills & Experience
Core Skills
Strong end-to-end infrastructure architecture Experience
Proven customer-facing consulting capability
Ability to operate as a generalist architect (not deep SME only)
Experience working across multiple concurrent projects/programmes
Technical Domain Experience (Desirable)
Cisco networking (LAN / WAN)
Palo Alto firewalls / security
VMware (compute / virtualisation)
Microsoft Windows Server environments
