Role: Head of Product - Commercial
Location: London office / Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Reporting to: Group Director of Product
The Role
The Head of Product for Commercial will own the full breadth of the Commercial domain – from the Consumer experience in commercial property search, through to the suite of products and services used by our Partners (agents). They will ensure that Rightmove becomes the definitive platform for commercial property discovery, research, and marketing.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deep sector understanding
1. Knowledge of the commercial property markets – including offices, retail, industrial, and investment – ideally paired with experience in B2B marketplaces or data-driven platforms.
2. An appreciation of the differences between commercial and residential journeys is important: longer decision cycles, investor/occupier dynamics, and the central role of rich data, research, and insight tools.
Proven product leadership across audiences
3. Experience designing and delivering products that serve the needs of a two-sided marketplace – building engaging consumer experiences alongside high-value, data-driven and marketing tools for partners.
4. The ability to shape a vision that balances scale, usability, and commercial impact.
Strategic and commercial acumen
5. A track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue growth while creating tangible value for both partners and consumers.
6. The capability to understand how commercial property products fit into Rightmove’s broader “find–afford–transact–move” ecosystem, and to spot opportunities to strengthen our market presence.
Customer empathy and insight-driven innovation
7. Skilled in working with agents, developers, and investors to uncover needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
8. Equally comfortable applying consumer insights, behavioural data, and market analysis to guide product direction and innovation.
Execution at scale
9. Demonstrated ability to lead discovery, prioritisation, and delivery across a portfolio of complex products – ensuring that teams remain focused, collaborative, and impact-oriented.
