Key Responsibilities
* Create a warm and welcoming environment that fosters well‑being and comfort
* Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care in a therapeutic residential setting
* Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children and young people to understand and cater to their individual needs
* Assist with daily living activities, including meals, medication and personal care
* Collaborate with the team of professionals to support physical, emotional and social needs
* Participate in regular training and personal development opportunities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory standards
* Contribute to the development and growth of the team
Key Skills and Qualities
* Compassionate, patient and empathetic nature
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous experience in care (desirable but not essential)
* Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements
* Commitment to maintaining a high standard of care and respecting children’s dignity
