The Team
The employment practice is one of the largest and strongest regional teams in the country, ranked Tier 1 by Chambers and Legal 500. The team advises a wide range of public and private sector clients, from sector-leading businesses and household-name institutions to senior executives.

The Role
You will play a key role in the team, advising on general employment issues including grievances, disciplinaries, and contractual matters. You will draft service agreements, contracts, handbooks, and settlement agreements. You will advise on redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, senior exits, and boardroom disputes. You will also handle employment tribunal litigation, including discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in employment law
* Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* Commercially minded, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
* A collaborative team player who is also comfortable taking ownership of their own caseload
* An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice
