Catering and Hospitality - Rowanbrook Care Home Contract: Part Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 24 Rowanbrook Care Home is a purpose-built service based in Walsall, providing high-quality specialist care for 59 residents. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team, helping to prepare and deliver high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. What We Offer £12.21 per hour Contracted 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends Pension scheme, onsite parking, paid DBS Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) What You Will Do As Kitchen Assistant, you will assist in food preparation, helping to ensure meals are ready efficiently and to a high standard. You will maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, including equipment and appliances, ensuring a hygienic environment. You will receive and safely store kitchen deliveries, ensuring all items are properly checked and stored. You will follow safe food handling principles and cleaning procedures to maintain the highest standards of food safety and kitchen presentation. Working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment while adhering to health and safety legislation and company policies.
