Digital Programme Manager

Gloucestershire
£55,000 - £62,000

The postholder will be responsible for co-ordinating the development and delivery of digital programmes within the organisation. The Programme Manager will assume a pivotal role in leading and delivering significant digital transformation programmes within the Trust, such as the Transforming Care Digitally Programme. This position entails working closely with Senior Managers to oversee the implementation of agreed programme elements, providing strategic oversight in the design and implementation of Programmeernance Structures, and reporting directly to the Head of Digital Transformation. The Programme Manager will lead high-profile programmes that require strategic thinking,prehensive programme management, and effective stakeholder engagement. This role is integral to the Trust's Digital Portfolio and involves collaboration with clinical and operational services to support the delivery of the Trust’s Digital Strategy. The Programme Manager will be responsible for developing policies, procedures, and practices that have an organisation-wide impact.
Responsibilities

1. The planning of programmes in line with the Trust’s strategic priorities and core values, taking concepts through from case for change topletion and supporting the development of the Digital Strategy.
2. Manage the full project process from initial discussion to finalpletion and sign-off
3. Maintain strong links with other transformation programmes and wider organisational development.
4. Provide regular reports toernance groups as required.
5. To developprehensive programme plans
6. To provide Programme Management, ensuring the coordinated implementation of a number of projects that impact across the Trust
7. Ensure the programme and constituent projects and workstreams are managed and monitored using recognised project management and improvement methodologies for reporting on performance, risks, issues, timing, quality and benefits realisation and ensure the project is reported through the appropriateernance framework.
8. Organise and attend meetings and consultations as required and ensure formal recordings of such.
9. Ensure that documentary evidence is maintained of all work undertaken within the area of responsibility, to provide robust audit trails
10. Drafting of papers for submission to appropriate meetings such as Strategic Oversight Group and Digital Group to cover various projects within the programme
11. Coordinating interdependent projects and workstreams
12. Ensure that the Programme Budget is controlled, monitored and reviewed.
13. Be accountable for the delivery of projects and workstreams to agreed quality, cost and programme objectives.
14. Highlight or report any cost pressures or financial difficulties and agree and implement any remedial actions (if necessary) to restore financial performance against plan.
15. Ensure all projects are delivered inpliance with legislation, relevant regulations and best practice methodologies
16. Excellent problem-solving skills to ensure effective and prompt resolution of issues arising during the project lifecycle
Requirements

23. Experience of Programme Management on major programmes
24. Significant experience as a manager in a public sector, supporting and managing staff
25. Experience in creation of highlyplex HM Treasury 5 case model documentation to contribute towards central funding applications.
26. Experience of benefits identification, management and realisation
27. Experience of collaborative working across organisational, regional and national boundaries.
