A respected hospice organisation in Gloucestershire is seeking an exceptional Director of Care Services to join its senior leadership team. About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of Care Services will:
* Lead the organisation’s clinical strategy, driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Provide visible, values-led leadership across Hospice at Home and Wellbeing & Counselling services.
* Oversee governance and compliance as Registered Manager, Caldicott Guardian, Accountable Officer for Controlled Drugs, and Director of Infection Prevention and Control.
* Collaborate across the health and care system to influence regional and national policy and strengthen partnerships.
* Support service development, including the expansion of children’s bereavement and counselling services.
About You
You are a registered healthcare professional (Nurse or AHP) with substantial post-registration experience and a proven record of senior leadership.
You combine strategic insight with operational agility, governance expertise, and genuine compassion.
Your leadership style is inclusive, emotionally intelligent, and authentic — you bring credibility, warmth, and resilience to complex and emotive environments.
