We are currently recruiting for 7.5t Delivery Drivers for our client based in Spennymoor on an ad hoc basis! As part of a two-person delivery team the Drivers will assist with deliveries and may help to assemble the products at our customers homes. The role will include: Completing deliveries on time, to schedule and most importantly ensuring customers are left happy Being friendly and helpful throughout Keeping customers informed by calling ahead Delivering and assembling furniture Supporting an environment and culture where the Customer is firmly at the centre of everything that we do Monitoring vehicle roadworthiness and reporting any defects Skills and Driving Licence Requirements: A UK driving licence Cat C1 Valid driver’s CPC DQ card / valid drivers digital card Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle Previous experience and understanding of using digital tachographs Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience Understanding of EU Driving legislation and tachograph law Desirable experience of using a PDA Hourly Rate : £13.95 Working days: Between Monday to Friday Please apply online if interested and we will be in touch to discuss further.
