Job Title: Shift Mechanical EngineerLocation: (City of London) Contract: ( offices)Salary: (£49K-£51K Per Annum) Shifts : Continental Shift - Days & NightsAre you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer looking to work on a prestigious commercial office site in the heart of London? We are recruiting for a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services team, supporting both landlord and tenant areas of a high-spec, multi-tenanted property.Salary & benefits
* Up to£49K-£51K Per Annum
* Continental Shift - Days & Nights
* 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holiday
Duties
* Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
* AHUs - fault finding and strip downs
* FCUs - fault finding and strip downs
* Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals and fault finding
* Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
* Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
* Chilled and hot Water Systems
* Plumbing maintenance
* Generators - visual inspections and fault finding
* Pressurisation units
* Calorifiers
* Heat exchangers
* Replacing copper/lead pipes
* BMS Operation
Requirements
* Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
* Min 2 years building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
* Physically fit - able to navigate a high-rise building
* Client facing - able to work closely with facility manager for the end client
