We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
* Support chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
* Help with catering events by preparing and serving food as required.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Ensure proper storage of food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service.
* Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is advantageous.
* Experience in meal preparation or catering will be considered a plus.
* A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary skills is essential.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
