Main duties of the job
To provide a range of clinical and administrative tasks (manual and computer) in an efficient and effective manner, assisting in the delivery of appropriate health care for the patients of the Community Dental Service (CDS) within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).
You will assist the Community Dentist, Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist with all dental treatment, including assisting people with special care needs at clinics, centres, hospitals, residential homes, patient homes and mobile dental units throughout Gwent.
Appropriate experience and relevant registration is essential.
You must be able to travel between sites in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the post.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Salary
£28,819 to £31,626 per annum pro rata.
