Head of Sales

50 - 60k plus bonus
The company:
An event caterer based in London delivering exceptional events throughout the city and neighbouring counties including large scale corporate catering at national public events
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the sales director to create sales strategies and identify new areas of opportunity for the company
* Hit personal targets set and inspire the team to reach their sales targets and KPI's
* Sell and plan events incorporating both food and stunning decor
* Assist in pitches for business
* Liaise with suppliers and negotiate preferred rates
* Represent the business at trade shows and events as well as networking within the industry to ensure the company is at the forefront of clients minds
* Liaise with venues and agencies to ensure they are well looked after and happy with the service
* Find new areas of business and proactively approach this
* Reach out to key agencies and set up meetings with the key accounts with a view to maximising revenue
Skills and Requirements:
* The ideal candidate must have worked for an event caterer or similar
* You must have a proven track record within a similar role
* You must know the industry well and be familiar with London event venues, essentially UVL spaces
* You must be up to date with industry trends and be a real foodie!
