We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative leader to Chair the Board of SWWFL.
This is a meaningful leadership role at the heart of a partnership between Wildlife Trusts across the extended South West.
You’ll work closely with the CEO, support strong governance, and help shape strategy, relationships, and long-term impact for conservation fundraising.
You’ll also act as a Company Director, sharing responsibility for the stewardship and success of the organisation.

2. Strategic thinking and sound judgement
3. Financial and governance awareness
4. Strong relationship-building skills
5. A genuine connection to conservation and nature
Key details:
6. 3-year term, appointed by the Board
7. ~4 days per month
8. Remunerated role (non-employment basis)
9. Requires appropriate self-employed status or equivalent
10. Works within SWWFL’s Director governance framework
